The Omaha Children's Museum

The last 10 days have been an absolute whirlwind.  First we went to Omaha, NE with two of Brett's best friends and their families.  On our first day, we all went to the Omaha Children's Museum.  It was absolutely FABULOUS.  Mady had such a great time.  She ran all over the place and really enjoyed just getting to be a kid.  There were so many exhibits and every one was great for kids.  I'm just going to blast this post with pictures, since it'll get the point across much better. 

In the Farm Area:



Shopping:  This was Mady's absolute favorite area.  She spent so much time selecting items to put in her shopping cart, filling the cart, emptying it and starting all over again.  If there were no carts available, Mady had no problem filling other people's carts with her chosen items.  We went back to this section of the museum several times.

They had a great "The Wizard of Oz" exhibit where Mady spent a lot of time:

After the Children's Museum, we stayed in a hotel.  (Mady's first hotel stay!)  Mady was fascinated with the king sized bed:

The hotel had a great indoor pool, so we played there with the other families for a couple of hours. 

They even had a water slide!  I missed Mady and Brett coming out of the slide...but here they are in line waiting.

The Children's Museum was fantabulous.  I can't wait to go again.
