Counter Offer

Well, I countered the insurance company's salary offer. Not for nearly what I was making before, but, for closer to what the average salary for an admin in our area makes. I thought that was at least a fair deal.

The woman is taking it to her manager and will get back to me tomorrow. She also told me, there is a 90 day review period, after which, salary could be increased based on performance. Which is good.

We'll see what my counter offer brings. Even if they don't raise the pay, I'm glad they were at least willing to try. Rather than just saying, "No, this is our only offer" right away.

Time will tell....
